2. PRE-INSTALLATION PREP

A. Engine Flush (Mandatory for First-Time FEIBI Use)

1. Use FEIBI Engine Flush (PN: FL-9)

2. Idle engine for 15 mins at 2,000 RPM

3. Drain completely - inspect for metal particles

 

B. System Compatibility Check

✅ Verify compatibility with:

Dry sump vs wet sump systems

Aftermarket coolers (thermostat opening temp)

Oil pressure (min 20 psi at idle for FEIBI R-Series)

 

 


 

3. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Step 1: Oil & Filter Change

1. Warm engine to 80-90°C (improves drainage)

2. Use magnetic drain plug (included with R-Series)

3. Install high-flow oil filter (FEIBI Race Filter recommended)

 

Step 2: Priming Sequence

For fresh/rebuilt engines:

1. Disable fuel pump & ignition

2. Crank for 30 sec intervals until oil pressure >40 psi

3. Verify pressure at idle:

Minimum: 10 psi per 1,000 RPM

Ideal: 15 psi per 1,000 RPM

 

 


 

4. BREAK-IN PROTOCOLS

5. TRACK USE SPECIFICS

A. Pre-Session Prep

1. Overfill by 0.5L (combats oil surge)

2. Verify oil temp:

Street Tires: Max 120°C

Slicks: Max 140°C

 

B. Post-Session Checks

1. Inspect for:

Fuel dilution (smell dipstick)

Viscosity loss (stretch oil between fingers)

2. Top-up if level drops >0.3L per session
